Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Administration
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.1
Reproducible: Always

Trying to get Lotus Notes to use the windows password. In the security settings, the box for "Log into Notes using your operating system login" is checked, but grayed out. Lotus asks for the password every time. The passwords were set to the same value.

Using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and
Lotus Notes Release 8.5.1
Revision 20090929.1223 (Release 8.5.1)
Standard Configuration

The IT department suspects this is not supported using the 64 bit client. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Is this something that can be worked around or is a fix required?
